| Does go2nonin.com accept insurance or Medicare? |
| |
Go2nonin.com does not file insurance claims or work directly with insurance companies; therefore we cannot place any type of claim for you. It is best to work with your provider to find out whether the GO2 is a reimbursable item. We do include an Invoice in every shipment that can be used for submission of possible reimbursement. Go2nonin.com does not guarantee reimbursement. That is between the customer and the provider. |

| What is the difference between the GO2 and GO2 Achieve? |
| |
The user guide for the GO2 tells you how to use the device in conjunction with your clinician's guidance to manage your medical condition. Therefore the FDA categorizes the GO2 as a medical device and features an Rx label. In order for Nonin to process your GO2 order, we must have a prescription. If your health insurance will cover the cost of the device, we recommend purchasing the prescription version. The GO2 Achieve is for anyone who is interested in knowing their oxygen saturation and heart rate. Applications would be for use during exercise or daily activities, during air travel for the passenger or the pilot and for extreme sports; such as mountain climbing. GO2 Achieve is not considered a medical device and does not require a prescription, is mainly used in the home, but is built with the same technology as the GO2. Both the GO2 and GO2 Achieve will give you equally accurate measurements of your oxygen saturation and heart rate. |
| What products require a prescription? |
| |
Only the GO2 requires a Physicians Prescription. The GO2 Achieve product does not require a prescription. |
Will my purchase of a GO2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter be covered by my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or my Health Savings Account (HSA)? |
| |
Generally speaking, a pulse oximeter should be covered under each of these plans if it is “medically necessary”. Check with your plan administrator to find out the process for reimbursement. Nonin will provide a receipt for the purchase for submission to your plan administrator. |
