As an oxygen user who travels extensively, I have been using a Nonin pulse oximeter for almost a decade. My original Nonin Onyx, which I received in 2000 is still working. In 2005 I got an Onyx II, and it is also still working perfectly. I appreciated the improved ease of changing the battery with the Onyx II. I have just gotten the new GO2 and like that it is lighter and more streamlined. I regularly check my Nonin oximeters against larger pulse oximeters in my doctor’s office and in hospital settings and am always impressed with its accuracy. Working in the respiratory industry, I have seen all too often, people who have opted for other, often imported, oximeters – and have all too often seen these items fail. The Nonin pulse oximeters are not only very accurate, they are rugged and dependable – very important when using them on a daily basis. Having my Nonin pulse oximeter allows me to feel safe and in control of my health and oxygen needs.
